New Extra Cool from Primalec is a synthetic air-conditioning booster that improves air-conditioning performance, cuts costs and extends the life of the system. Extra Cool A/C Booster creates a lasting boundary lubricant on all the metal components of the air conditioning system, including the compressor.

This reduces friction and the heat caused by friction, creates a smoother surface that reduces drag, suppresses foaming and produces a greater load bearing shield. So you get better heat transfer and less engine drag, faster cooling, cooler vent temperatures, and less compressor wear.

Extra Cool works by displacing oil molecules that impede heat transfer from the surface of the heat exchange surfaces of the evaporator and condenser and replacing them with Extra Cool molecules that transfer heat more readily. By eliminating the energy-robbing barriers created by stagnant oil build-up and unwanted carbon deposits, Extra Cool makes the system need less energy and cool more efficiently. Laboratory Falex lubricity analysis has shown that the load required for lubrication failure using Extra Cool is more than three times that needed for failure of PAG oil. Better lubrication means less wear and longer compressor life.

Easy to inject into the A/C system, Extra Cool is best installed using the new Primalec Concertina Injector, an innovative new low-cost injector for closed systems, based on a concertina-style flexible cartridge incorporating a non-return valve (worldwide patents applied for). The cartridge is used in a totally new torque injector tool which applies precisely controlled pressure to the concertina cartridge when the screw is turned. The Concertina Injector makes it possible to inject precisely measured amounts without first de-pressurizing the system. As fluid is injected, the non-return valve prevents air entering the cartridge to replace it, so the concertina gradually collapses as the fluid is used. When empty, the cartridge is less than a quarter of its original size, making disposal easy with minimal environmental impact.
