Glo-Leak UV Test Fluids are engineered with one or more fluorophors in solution with compatible base fluids to give fluorescent potential to lubricants, coolants, hydraulic fluids and ACR refrigerants. A UVA (or UV-Blue) light source, directed at suspected leakage points, converts that fluorescent potential into a bright yellow or yellow-green fluorescent glow. So the leaks shout out: "Here I am!"
Glo-Leak UV Test Fluids for A/C offer a unique combination of ingredients, give the brightest fluoresce with all common refrigerants, with any A/C lubricant, and using any reasonably good UVA or UV+Blue tracer lamp.
Now, with an increasing market for vehicle air conditioning, a confusing array of new fluorescent products of varying quality is appearing on the market. That is why we have set the Glo-Leak standard.
A single Glo-Leak A/C dose is the amount of Glo-Leak you need to treat one air conditioner containing 250ml of compressor lubricant, using any reasonably good UVA or UV+Blue tracer lamp.
One dose is enough for all but the largest car A/Cs. And when you use a high quality Primalec tracer lamp to fluoresce the Glo-Leak, you get even better results.
To suit your individual needs, Glo-Leak UV Test Fluid for air conditioning is available in 4 different strengths and in several different packages: bottles, vials, sachets and cartridges.
Three key factors affect UV-Fluorescent response:
-
The chemistry and concentration of the tracer fl uid
-
The power and wavelength of the UV lamp
-
The characteristics of the ‘host’ fl uid So for best results, you must use the best UV Test fl uids and the best UV lamps.
